Peer Support Services
Peer Support Services are friendly, non-judgmental and inclusive support services by people who have been in your shoes. Peers understand what it is like to live with a substance use disorder (SUD) or to have a loved one with a SUD. Addiction is different for everyone and peers are available to support you in any way that you would like. Peer services include but are not limited to the following:
-
- One-on-one help from someone who understands
- Groups led by people in recovery
- Planning for a healthier and happier life
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Education and advocacy
- Connection to community resources
- Skill-building workshops for coping and resilience
- Holistic well-being activities promoting a balanced lifestyle
By embracing peer support, we acknowledge that the path to recovery is unique for everyone. Check out our partner organizations below who provide peer support services in Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties.
