Oregon Prevention and Treatment Comprehensive Health (OPATCH)
In 2018, Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital (SNLH), a CCCWN partner in Lincoln county, received a Rural Communities Opioid Response (RCOR) Planning grant from the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) for $200,000 to be spent over 18 months (September 2020 – February 2022). The grant was coined the Lincoln County Opioid Prevention and Treatment Comprehensive Health Plan, or OPATCH. It worked to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with opioid use disorder (OUD) through the development of a comprehensive opioid treatment and prevention plan.
